Boscalid is a fungicide intended for use on food crops such as beans, peanuts, pistachios, lettuce, grapes, and strawberries.
Boscalid has a relatively low toxicity in animal studies, and while the EPA classified it as showing sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity, the assessment of potential cancer risks in humans were deemed unnecessary by the EPA.
