Dichlorvos (DDVP) is commonly used to kill common pests such as spider mites, aphids, thrips, and white flies.
It is highly toxic by inhalation, dermal absorption, and ingestion. Because dichlorvos is volatile, inhalation is the most common route of exposure. It is commonly manufactured in a liquid solution spray or combined with plastic and slowly released.
